Focusing on the FRINGE

At the New York Bridal Fashion Week last month, iconic Spanish bridal dress brand Pronovias caught everyone’s attention with their dazzling gown adorned with fringes. The gown not only had fringes from top to bottom, but even had dazzling beaded elements decked on the train. This gown became as much a statement as actress Emma Stone’s stunning beaded fringe Givenchy number at this year’s Oscars red carpet. If these two looks seem like an overdose of fringes, you have to check out the Fall 2017 collection of popular Italian fashion brand Emilio pucci.

Beaded fringes are everywhere! From shimmying down a bag, glittering on the gown or adorning a dress or a jacket, these shiny strands have had a major revival this year.Fashion designer Kresha Bajaj, whose forte is the usage of beaded fringes, says the trend may have started in the 1920’s with the flapper style and reached its peak in the 1970’s but it is this year that one is seeing its strongest revival.

Runway images of last two to three seasons best explain how designers have been hooked to this hippie style and given it their own chic makeover. From Suneet Verma, Prabal Gurung, Naeem Khan to Manish Malhotra, all have used this embellishment in their collections to add extravagance.

This trend just refuses to get out of fashion and totally okay with that. I'm referring to fringes, Fringes comes in all lengths and styles, so whether you go short and subtle or long and eccentric, there are many ways to make this trebd work for your personal style.

The version of the trend that called my name was this multicolor skirt with golden fringed crop top for itself. For a more subtle touch, consider an accessory such as earrings, or neckpieces. You can't go wrong with any type fringes this season. Get this look from https://www.larozatss.com
